Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with young people, parents and teachers via public information points and event-based activities. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. Organisers say, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools.
